DIPLOMATIC ENCOUNTERS WITH HIROSHI TAJIMA, CONSUL - GENERAL OF JAPAN IN CHICAGO

The "Diplomatic Encounters Series: A Conversation with HIROSHI TAJIMA, Consul-General of Japan" was an event held on November 1, 2022, organised by the International House and UChicago Global in collaboration with the Chicago Consular Corps and the Center for East Asian Studies (CEAS). The event featured Hiroshi Tajima, the Consul-General of Japan, in a conversation with Susan L. Burns, who is a Professor of Japanese History and the Director of CEAS.

This event is co-sponsored by the Center for East Asian Studies, the International House Diplomatic Encounters Series, and UChicago Medicine with the generous support of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, India (Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Founder), Through the auspices of the Sai Hira Indian Foundation.
